Patent Attorney

Salary: N/A / Yearly Location: Southeast, NC
Type: Full-Time
Supervise external attorneys and agents as well as personally prepare and prosecute patent applications worldwide. Conduct product clearance/patent studies. Assist in maintenance of portfolio. Strategize, draft review various Intellectual Property agreements. Assist in litigation and licensing activities. Analyze scope and validity of competitor patents. Review invention disclosures, claims and specifications. Counseling to management and Research and Development.

BS in Mechanical Engineering, Material Sciences, Electrical Engineering or Physics required. Will possibly consider Chemical Engineering if there is mechanical experience.
