Our client is a New Jersey based pharmaceutical company developing various small molecule based therapies.

Currently we are seeking a Patent Attorney with 4+ years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry. Experience can be either in-house or firm.

Duties include:
? Prepare, file, and prosecute patent applications, primarily for organic chemistry process inventions
? Counsel clients regarding issues pertaining to patent law
? Manage the prosecution/preparation docket for the API business
? Be responsible for managing the work of outside legal counsel
? Participate as a member of the Invention Review Committee for the API business

The position requires:
? Advanced degree in Chemistry (Organic or Medicinal)
? Registration with the USPTO
? Admission to a state bar
? 4 plus years of experience within patent law (as agent or attorney)
